AC/DC's drummer is stepping out on his own. Head Job is the upcoming debut solo album from Phil Rudd.
The rocker tells an Australian radio station the lead-off single, "Repo Man," is one of the weakest tracks on the set, and "most of the stuff on the album is better." But Rudd says he's happy with all the songs on the disc. He explains that he didn't include any songs he didn't like, adding that "there's plenty of Phil on there, but no filler."
Rudd wrote and recorded the album with singer Alan Badger and guitarist Jeffrey Martin. Phil praises his collaborators, saying Jeffrey is "a stellar guitarist" while Alan has "a voice from above." Rudd's Head Job will be released on August 29th.
